Why we built Zendegi.Studio
We were planning our own wedding and could not find a website we were proud to send. So we made one.

Zendegi.Studio started with our own wedding.
Zendegi means "life" in Persian. It felt right for a studio that makes the first thing your guests see of the life you are starting together.
What we could not find
Every wedding site we tried looked like a form, spoke a single language, or both. Our families do not all read the same language, and we did not want anyone to feel like a guest of a lesser rank.
We had spent weeks choosing how things should feel: the place, the music, the colours. Then the website we were supposed to send to everyone looked like a booking page. The same few templates, the same grey buttons, the same English-only date format. Nobody remembers a wedding website, and we understood why.
The beautiful options did exist. They were animated videos made by hand, one couple at a time, by studios with long waiting lists. They were lovely, but they stopped at the invitation. Replies still arrived by text, email, phone and paper, and ended up in a spreadsheet that was out of date the day after it was made.
What we wanted instead
A wedding is a specific moment. You want something beautiful, something your guests can use without help, and something that speaks to each of them in their own language.
So we decided to build it, in this order:
- The wow first. An invitation that opens like paper, a venue that paints itself in, scenes inspired by Canadian seasons and places.
- A real wedding website behind it. Save the date, invitation, schedule, venues, and everything guests look for in the weeks before.
- An RSVP that runs itself. One link per household, replies per event, meals, a live headcount and polite reminders.
- Every language, done properly. English and French first, then the languages families speak at home.
The order matters. The animation is what guests remember; everything else exists to support that moment, not to compete with it.
How we work
We build every scene ourselves, and we test each one on mid-range phones, not just on our own. If a scene is blurry when it zooms or stutters on an older phone, it is not finished.
We write every word in English and in French, and we treat a clumsy sentence like a bug.
We keep the price simple: $125 CAD per event, everything included, paid once. Your guests never pay anything, and there is no subscription to remember to cancel after the wedding.
Why Canada
We live here. Canadian weddings mix languages and traditions more than most, and the tools we found were built for somewhere else, with dates, prices and spellings to match. Starting here means we can get the details right for the people we know best, then grow from there.
Where we are
Four save the dates are ready. The first couples can already create their wedding, choose a scene, try it on themselves and build their guest list, typed in or imported from Excel. Invitations and the RSVP are next.
We will share each step here, and on Instagram. If you are planning a wedding and want to tell us what is missing, we would love to hear it.
