What is free, and what Premium adds

An animated save the date in every language is free. Premium is $125 CAD per event, paid once, for RSVP, household links, registry and gallery.

The Autumn drive save the date: a convertible on a road through red and orange maples, painted in watercolour, under the couple’s names and date.

Zendegi.Studio now has two ways to use it. You can announce your date for free, and move to Premium when you need the rest of the wedding. Here is exactly what each one includes, so you can decide without reading fine print.

Free: your save the date, in every language

Free costs nothing, for as long as you need it. It includes:

  • An animated save the date. Choose your scene, from Autumn drive to Montreal, and it plays with your names, your date and your place.
  • Every language your guests read. Pick up to 30, and each one gets its own link (see one save the date, in up to 30 languages).
  • Links you share yourself. Copy them into an email, a text or the family group chat.

Before you share anything, you can open the full-size save the date on your own phone and watch it the way your guests will.

There is no trial period and no card to enter. If all you need this year is to tell people the date, Free is enough.

Premium: everything behind the save the date

Premium is $125 CAD per event, paid once. It is not a subscription, so nothing renews and nothing needs cancelling after the wedding.

It includes everything in Free, plus:

  • An animated RSVP. An invitation that opens like paper, then turns over to the reply. One reply for the whole household, plus-ones included, with meal choices and dietary needs.
  • A personal link for every household, sent for you. By email or text, so every reply comes back tied to its household.
  • A live headcount and polite reminders. The replies gather themselves, and the reminders do the chasing.
  • A registry. Gifts from any store and cash funds for the honeymoon or a first home, on your own site.
  • A shared photo gallery. Engagement photos before the day, and guests’ photos after, uploaded from their phones without an app.
  • Table management. Seat households from their replies and print a seating chart for the venue.

The $125 covers up to 200 guests. Above that, it is $5 more. A custom domain name is available on request.

Your guests never pay

Whatever you choose, your guests pay nothing, create no account and install nothing. They open a link, watch the scene and reply in under a minute.

Which one to choose

Start with Free if:

  • you are a year or more away, and only want people to keep the date;
  • you already handle replies some other way, or the wedding is small enough to count on your fingers;
  • you want to see your save the date play before deciding anything.

Choose Premium when:

  • you are sending the invitation and want the replies, meals and headcount in one place;
  • you want each household to get its own link, sent for you, with reminders;
  • you want the registry and the photo gallery on the same site as the invitation.

Many couples will do both, in that order: the save the date for free eight to twelve months out, then Premium when the invitation goes out. Your save the date stays exactly as it is when you move to Premium; you keep your scene, your languages and your links. If you are not sure when that moment is, read when to send your save the dates.

Why a single price

Weddings already come with enough monthly charges, deposits and add-ons. We wanted one price you can write in the budget on day one and forget. It is in Canadian dollars, because that is the currency your wedding is paid in.

You can compare both on the pricing page, and start with a free save the date from there.
